I need help. I can't get my new PS3 controller to charge. I know about the pairing and I believe I did that. I can't get it to charge with the PS3, my computers, phone charger....nothing. I've already taken the first one back because it did the same thing. Am I missing something?

You won't be able to charge them with anything other than the PS3, they require an activation signal to be sent when they are connected before they will start to charge, and only the PS3 sends that signal.

Turn the PS3 on, and then plug the controller in, it should start to charge. If it doesn't, try a different cable.

Thanks. Well, I just brought a new shiny Belkin USB 2.0 cable and it works great.
