I need to upgrade my psu from a dell 460 watt psu to a 550 watt psu with one 8 pin (6+2 pin power cord.Has I am not sure what kind of psu will work with my pc I aam asking for some help as to what unit do I need"here is my system info.if you can tell me what psu will work I will appreciate it very much.

Are you using IGP or a dedicated GPU? also Dell has proprietry ATX power connectors usually so a standard 24 pin ATX PSU won't necessary fit a Dell motherboard I think you can buy an adaptor though so it's not a big deal just something you need to bear in mind. Budget? Location/stores you buy from etc..
