So two ram sticks was delivered today , bought the same ram for my Dell 7810, one of the ram sticks fit right in and works and i was wondering why the other one didn't fit in correctly, i thought it was bad. So i looked at both sticks and one has a brown tip on it, while the rest of the memory in my system has a green tip.

Did he give me a bad memory stick or this isn't for my desktop?

Color has nothing to do with if it fits. Either it is the wrong type or you put it in backwards.

It fits in easy in my second computer(Dell 5810), but it doesn't load up, seems like he sent me a bad stick.

Alright well i got it fit in, but i get a orange light. So I'm assuming its a bad stick, because the other one works perfectly fine. All good, he said he's going to send another one.

I see the Dell 5810 uses DDR4 RDIMM

Yeah I was going to say the photo looks like RDIMM. I believe they all need to be RDIMM or not. Can't have them mixed. Maybe that's the problem?
