Hello all,

so I stumbled upon this video, about a home made external GPU project. I followed the links provided and to be brutally honest...it looks super doable. I might actually pull the trigger. Now, the question. I have laying around the house a brand new: Seasonic Flex ATX PSU . This precise model : SS-250 SU . Will it be enough for middle range card when you have in mind it only powers the GPU, nothing else of course. The rest is the laptop. I think it should be fine. FLEX ATX will make the box may smaller I think. I gotta check how to short start it though or have a on/off switch or something.

There are eclosures out there already, just have to look. 680W PSU in an asus rog will handle higher end cards.

There was a DiY kit out there too, only needed a high powered laptop brick for power, but a Flex PSU would work.
