Hey guys, I got a R9 290 for my first build but its a referance so its loud AF. I wanna get an aftermarket cooler but in my country their expensive and sometimes 3x the price, but there is a deepcool dracula for sale for about 30 dollars us. The problem is that no where does it state that it can mount to a R9 290 but it has 54 mm holes and their website states it mounts to 54mm holes.

Wil I be able to mount that cooler to my referance R9 290

Your card is a reference model, so you should be good to go.

Hmm hold up for a bit

Let me look at that cooler,
You can always change the thermal paste and psds, do washer mod amd use fan curve adjustment to keep axial blower at bay.

Here are compatible ones

Thermalright, Zalman and Xigmatek Used to be competitors (unsure if Scythe was too), but havent released anything in years for VGA, they need to though

well like I said Im in south africa, to get those coolers will be stupid and I can get a second hand 1060 for that.

This is what I wanna know about and what im sceptical about. This will literally be the only thing avaidible here

6 heatpipes should be fine setup with some good fans.

Google for some reviews if you want to know more.

I gave you more options, so just buy it and move forward or spend cash on a low end card. DO NOT BUY A CARD THAT JUST SAYS GTX 1060, BUY 1 FROM A REPUTABLE BRAND SUCH AS ASUS
