Hi, I rarely deal with radeons (it's my maybe 2nd time in my life) so I don't know what or how.

1.msi r7 260x - memory speed should be 6000Mhz or 6500Mhz or 7000Mhz (I don't know, different sites give different values)

in "hw monitor" shows me 1625 MHz under stress and in this program from AMD too - I can possibly overclock them at 1800Mhz (in amd application)
so it has to be ? does it somehow multiply or something?

2. I know that this is a weak card, so should I turn on / off something somewhere to make it as efficient as possible in games? some switching off the energy saving, turbo mode or other miracles? possibly some global quality improver etc. turn off? maybe some player mode or something is hidden somewhere?

Well its gddr5 so the effective clock is 4x
You can try tweaking the graphics through the radeon settings and in-game settings. Just try different combinations and compare the fps. Ofc running 800x600 at low settings will give you high fps in cyberpunk 2077:), but seriously the 260X is = 750Ti, so a bit faster than 1030 gddr5. Not too shabby for 2021 imo. You can oc the gpu to maybe 1200-1300mhz (depending on ur silicon quality), to get that exxtra performance. Memory oc wont do much since its already gddr5 128bit running at decent speed.

I would ignore the above reply, unless you are playing Tetris. :)

Lost cause, sorry. The card is not so weak in itself, but has too few RAM on it. This GPU had only 2 GBs of videoRAM, IIRC. (I used to have this card, now sitting in a drawer.)
NO changing of drivers settings, games settings, over/undervolting or overclocking will help you.
As you cannot plug in more RAM into the GPU/card, not much can be changed/improved.

It was many, many years ago when 2 GBs was "mostly sufficient" for the "average PC game" on an "average, common resolution" monitor - not high-res, mind you.
Now for many games, 4 GBs or even 6 GBs are not sufficient, and some "not so average", more demanding games even find 8 GBs too little in certain scenarios.

Well, i may disagree about the vram amount, as 2gb (is indeed still enough) for such level of gpu performance, 260X~RX 550~GT 1030. 4GB is overkill, 1GB is too low. Dont get me wrong, right now i am using my office rig which has a 260X Sapphire in it, i only hit the vram limit in games that actually make use of it, like BF V or GTA V (both 1080p high), hitting 1700-1800mb avg, but at that point the card is already struggling to provide acceptable framerate, due to the raw power of the gpu itself. For example an R9 285 is much faster, while still having the very same 2gb.
