When I play rage full screen 1080p the rage menu screen is uneven when I set to 1080p 16:9 ratio

I don't know what you mean by uneven, but try it at 16:10 aspect ratio , or @1200p maybe that will work. Or just set it to 1080 P and windowed borderless , it'll take up the entire screen, it won't have a border, it'll look full screen it just won't actually be

Set it to 720p seenif it fits then. What drm is that game on?
You could use a launch modifier to run windowed etc. to see if that resolves it
It almost seems like you're not running windows resolution at 1080P ,if that's what the game is set to run at, and windows wasn't, it would look like the screenshot you just posted. Verify windows resolution is properly set

Uneven at 16:9 and even at 16:10 seems like a lot of common sense. Maybe its the alcohol talking right now but hey..

Life is weird, I did set windows Asus at 1080p screen
Was that the issue? Was it not set at 1080 ? The reason I mention it is that screenshot you posted is a carbon copy of what happens when a 3-D application is set for high-DEF, and the desktop environment is less

In your laptops display settings, is there an option to "fit to screen" ?
I see the game resolution is set to run in 1920 X 1080, but it appears to be larger which can happen with lower resolutions.
Once the game setting is changed, is there an "accept" or "change" button at the bottom of the menu?
