Ok got my 2 F1 500 GB's in Raid 0 this being the first time i've ever done it, so can someone tell me the advantages and disadvantages of RAID 0 please I'm noobish in this area :toast:

ADV-Its faster than a single drive.

DISAD-If one drive goes tittys up,you lose the lot.

Unless you need the space,i would say raid 1 is just as fast as raid 0 and everything is always backed up.

Hmm I kinda need alot of space :D

*don't say porn, don't say porn* ermmm high definition porn  just kidding :) I like to rip my games from the CD to the hdd just in case the cd chooses not to work and my music collection is stored as .WAV and thats kinda big and I back up my friends stuff as well.

I back up my friends stuff as well.

I thought I was the only one being "friendly"!! As far as I'm concerned I have backups for everyone.;)

Only one of my friends has data worth backing up ... mods etc and my other friend thinks if I backup his music I will pirate it since he got it from iTunes.
