raid on asus p5b

i was going to set up a raid 0 array but the jmicron controller says no disks found, would i be right in thinking thats for pata raid and the p5b has no sata raid function ?

The P5B supports SATA Raid 0, Raid 1, and JBOD. See section 5.5 of manual to create a FLOPPY disk for Raid setup. Yes, you wil need a FLOPPY Drive. Raid disk drivers are installed before the OS.
Then some Bios settings and connections and your on your way.
