Hello guys!

I’ve been using this card for month, it was previously a mining card, with some help from the forum I could install the good BIOS for the GPU, from then i had no problem with it.

Now my problem is the next:
I used the card for 3D design(UE5) and video editing(Capcut) then randomly the AMD software showed me an error message, 1-2 times then the screen went black.(from the first message to the black screen around 1-2 hour went by)

Now, when I start the PC i have a black screen, the fans are spinning, no beep no error just black screen. I have another GPU with that i have zero problem.

My question would be, how can I be 100% sure that this card died and not something went wrong that can be fixed?

Hello guys!

I have a gigabyte h510m motherboard and two kingstown fury beast ram.
I had a cpu at me, that I wanted to try, but it wasn’t fitting into the socket, so when i saw that i didn’t try to powerfitting into the socket. The cpu socket didn’t have any dmg.

But from then, whenever i put the ram to the left socket the pc totally crash, black screen, every usb is turning off.

My question would be, did i killed the left socket with that cpu “change” or is it just some problem that can be fixed?

if it's not posting or displaying a PC display out signal at startup then it is something at the hardware level, and unless your fix involves re-soldering board components, the card is done.

you can still sell it on ebay for parts only, or try taking it to a repair shop if it's worth it.

The card suffered from mining abuse, go buy a brand new in box RX 6600

You will need to visit a shop

That’s something i would never thought. You’re intelligence is on another, to come up with a so good and not expected answer.

You came here stating your gpu died now your system is screwed up, you will need to have pieces tested, do it at a shop so you are not having to buy hardware just to destroy it.

Sounds like a bad video card.

But the problem with the RAM is not a new thing, only the GPU. While i was using a different setup I tought I could ask the RAM too.
