Hi,

I just installed 24GB into a Rampage III Formula. It says 24GB of 1033, but the RAM is 1600Mhz triple channel. I clicked on adjust frequency, and changed it to 1600Mhz, but when I restarted, it gave an Overclock Failed! error. I'm obviously missing something, lol

Thanks
Mike

May have to raise the voltages, especially if all slots are populated. The board may also not support that much ram at that speed.

when all slots populated on desktop boards you are limited to the lowest 2 ram dividers.

I'm still confused, it says it supports (and other people have it in this configuration) 24GB in 1600Mhz.

you have to crank the bclk to get the ram to 1600. it wont run 1600mhz at 133bclk.
