Randomly losing GPU output while gaming. GTX 970.

here are some stupid questions:
did you try changing your hdmi cable?
disabled power settings on the monitor?
disabled power settings in windows for the GPU?

Ok guys, here is update:

I tried:
1. Remove PCI Express power saving mode in power plan advanced settings. Didn't help.
2. Uninstall KB4505903 - didn't help.
3. Remove CPU OC completely - didn't help.
4. Check 12V voltage with digital multimeter from MOLEX connector while testing via OCCT Power Supply test - the min. value was 12.15 V so it's good. In this test I also had black screen issues.
5. Now I removed the right side of my case - the cables could be a litlle bit squeezed (very litlle), but it was like that for couple of years without single issue. For now - there is no black screens, but I will wait some time to cool down GPU and then test it again. (Now it's very fast throotling itself - 79C).

Will report back.

Update #1:
So, after removing right side of my case I thought, even if I was very sceptical about this, that my problem is solved. I tested the card couple of times with OCCT Power Supply Test, then played Witcher 3 for about an hour, then WoT and again Witcher 3 - and here, unfortunately I had black screen issues two times.

Weird thing is, when black screen occurs, there is no any error like Event ID 4101 in Events Journal.

PSU overall seems to be fine, but maybe PCI cables are faulty? Unfortunately it is not modular PSU, so I can't change them.

I'm thinking about cleaning this PSU and changing the cables positions in case. Or maybe disassembly the whole PC, clean it (there is some dust here and there, but there is not much) and assembly again?

And one more, important thing - this PC is connected to electrical outlet without grounding (electrical installation in my house is very old). For years there was no issues like this, but now... I don't know.
Also, when I start to play it seems that my Internet connection is disconnecting itself (I have LTE modem which is connected to router. PC is connected to router via standard UTP cable with RJ-45 connectors). Modem just gets unplugged (this may be just coincidence, because this combo = router + modem used to generate such problems but it was random. Now is every time when I start to play).

Update #2:

I'm testing again with:

1. Changed power cable and plugged in another outlet.
2. Cleaned Ethernet port on motherboard.
3. Unplugged and plugged again some connectors.
4. Removed cable-tie from outside of PSU (it was very tight by default).
5. Cables in case now have more "free space".

Above changes are propably the latest I do before testing my GPU in another computer.

Will report back.

During any point in time did you check Event Viewer system log an record the error message ?

Yes, of course :) and there is no any suspected errors like Event 4101 (driver stopped responding but recovered). It's very weird.

OK guys, here is update:

Since I done these things:
1. Changed power cable and plugged in another outlet.
2. Cleaned Ethernet port on motherboard.
3. Unplugged and plugged again some connectors.
4. Removed cable-tie from outside of PSU (it was very tight by default).
5. Cables in case now have more "free space".

I didn't have black screen issue. The only bug was Event 4101 (driver stopped responding but recovered) once - but I don't know what caused it - I hope it is software bug.
***These events started to show up the same day when I upgraded Win 10 from 1809 to 1903*** (happened 6 times)

So, for now, problem seems to be fixed. For me it's very, very weird that one of above things fixed (hope so) it. Maybe it was power delivery problem? My power strip is very, very old (15 years or even more), or maybe power cable was faulty in some way? I just don't know. This problem was the strangest I had ever.

I hope that it is not just "temporary" fix. We'll see.

Thank you all so much for help and for suggestions. :)
