Razer messing up

OK, well im not by anyway new to the PC world, but my razer Lachesis is jacking up. A little information: well I am running the system Beaut in system specs. well out of no where my mouse will power down. i have checked the cord for any possible shorts, all the way through out, with this being my first guess. Well nope, no luck. It happens at random and i have no idea thats going on. But it mainly happens when i switch profiles (not always though) and it will power off, and then it takes TONS of time to power back on, it have tried EVERYTHING i can think of, switched USB port off my mobo and it still dose it, hooked it up through my front pannel and still dose it, i am currently running the offical Razer Lachesis version 1.10 any help would be great!

Maybe check the USB power saving ?. Only other thing i know you could do is get in touch with Razer about it and see what they say and see if it needs RMA.

What's the firmware version on your Lachesis? Check out Razer support and make sure you have the latest one installed on your mouse...

i have all power saving turned off.... lol... who needs it....

What's the firmware version on your Lachesis? Check out Razer support and make sure you have the latest one installed on your mouse...

that might just be the problem i just checked, and it says the firmware is N/A.

EDIT: do you have to update firmware in order or can you skip stright to the latest?

I'd recommend updating in order. Test each firmware update out. If everything works good for you, then stick with it. Read the changelogs for the newer firmwares. If there aren't any fixes that would affect you, then don't update to the latest. You may not be able to flash back to older, possibly "better working" firmwares.

Or you could just flash to the latest. It's up to you...

i was asking because i have heard horror storys of people upadating firmware..... lol yeah i will do in order, i absolutly love this mouse!
