I recently purchased a Razer Blackwidow Tournament Edition to replace my ancient rubber dome membrane keyboard from prehistoric times. (Seriously! Its windows logo is that of Windows 95/98, meaning it was made before Windows XP was released in 2001!) Just as everyone predicts, my old keyboard feels mushy now after I'm used to a mechanical keyboard.
Unfortunately, the Tournament Edition lacks a numpad. I was perfectly aware of this before I bought the keyboard, but the Tournament Edition was the only Blackwidow in my budget. I would like to know whether the Razer Tartarus or Orbweaver can be used as a numpad, and if not, I would like to know what similar-looking alternatives can.
Thanks!
UPDATE: I anticipate some will ask why I want an external numpad that together with the price of the keyboard would cost more than just getting a blackwidow with a numpad in the first place. The reason is that I need a bilingual keyboard. There is one place in the world where I can get keyboards with this other language printed on them out of the box, and everything costs twice as much over there. A tartarus or similar peripheral needs no letters and therefore can be purchased in the US.
