Hi there :)
I just got one simple question , will Razer barracuda work with the world's simplest Audio Card ( I mean Default which is Realtek ) ?

As simple as that , I was too stupid to find out myself :shadedshu

Im pretty sure it works

But I need someone who has one headset and he knows.

Help?!?! :D

I do own 1, and as the adapter cable that comes with is simply 3 minijacks and a usb for power, you should have no problem.

If your realtek does 5.1, it will work.

It's default , I don't think that it has 5.1 cuz I got shity mobo and shity audio card , so i'm asking will it work on 2.1 or whatever is the default.

BTW is it worth it to buy? King wookie

What mobo are you running?

Gigabyte 945GZM S2 I think ^^

According to the Gigabyte website, it's 7.1 audio out on your mb.
Simply don't connect to the side speaker out, and the rest should be fairly obvious.

See , the problem is there are 3 mobos with this name and i got the worst one because I burnt my asus mobo and had to get new crap.
Quote from Mobo Book.

Audi : Onboard Realtek ALC883 CODEC Chip
Supports High Definition Audio
Supports 2/4/6/8 Channel Audio
Supports S/PDFIP In/Out connection
Sopports CD in Connection

That's what it says ^^

See if you can understand more than I :D

When the manual says "Supports 2/4/6/8 Channel Audio ", they mean you can connect either a 2,4,6,or 8 channel speaker system to the mb.

If you read further into the manual, you will see which sockets to use.

Remember, each connector carries 2 channels of audio.

Damn , I checked the book again and no signs of anything about audio ;[
