I did a search and didn't find any other posts that answered my question.

I have been out of the upgrading game for some time now, so I don't trust my decision on the motherboard. I have decided on 1150 and the 4670k.

Parameters required:

- 1150
- Full or mATX
- great overclockability (I would like to see 4.6 on my 4670k)

Parameters wanted but not required:

- Raid-0
- 5/7.1/2 on board (or riser)
- CFX ready

Price $140 +/- $20

For added incentive I will give away your choice of Crysis 2 origin key, or Medal of Honor (new) origin key to a random poster.

Thanks in advance for all the help.

I should mention that I have amazon prime, though Newegg often has free 2-day shipping which is nice.

Amazon has price guarantee so if the price goes lower on black Friday /cyber Monday (or any other day within 30 days) they reimburse you the extra amount. I'm not sure Newegg's policy on that.

I guess it is between the MSI and the Asrock Extreme4 (amazon has it for $122). Just minutes from clicking to buy, anyone have any input? Both boards have everything I want and need. Is there any reason to spend the extra $60? I see reviews getting 4.6 easily on both boards.

Out of the two I would go with extreme4

What did you do to receive un-thankable status?

Using a random name picker online, Brandon came up. Which key would you like?

The parts arrive tomorrow, I'll update the thread for archiving purposes as to my experience.

Thanks everyone for their input.
