Removeable disk drive E says to insert disk

I've tried right clicking and safely removing it, then renaming the f drive to e. Yet when I restart it doesnt help any suggestions

only have 1 drive though and its the f drive. think its the printer

1.) Go into the Device manager and select view for showing hidden devices.

2.) Uninstall all hidden USB DEVICES and STORAGE VOLUMES, reboot.
3.) If the problem is still present, uninstall all hubs, reboot.

Windows is still very dumb regarding its USB management while caching drivers and pretending to chose the best known driver once it troubles itself up with USB devices.
