Replace AIO CPU cooler after 5yrs? Rehousing system.

Hi
I am rehousing and updating a system, it's fairly old but functions as a render node, and for that function it works really well.

It currently runs an AIO CPU cooler, Corsair H150 of some kind, 240rad, from late 2017. Which is getting on in cooler land, I know.
It seems to run OK, and doesn't get that hot when doing, say, Cinebench CPU test. Doesn't really seem to be anything "wrong" with it, but regardless, is this getting to the point where most of you would stop using it?

Would be re-housed with new thermal paste and clean / de-dust etc.

Alternative is maybe looking at a new new basic EK or Arctic, no RGB.

Thanks!

I would find moving on from a five year old AIO to be acceptable for peace of mind more than anything else even if it has a couple of years of useful service left. I'd probably keep it around as a backup for a while before I sent it off to the e-waste recycle bin.

I don't believe AIOs lose cooling performance gradually. The AIO pump will completely fail one day. The other symptom is more pump noise due to wear while the unit continues to cool the CPU.

Changing cases would be a natural moment for a component swap. That's just me; I know many others here will run the AIO until it fails.

Best of luck.

Value for money says keep using what still works. It's getting on a bit sure, but if your temps are still good, it's doing it's job.
I'd keep your money until it tells you it's time to replace. If you've got money to burn, plenty of options available, don't even have to plug in that A-RGB / RGB.
