res 5 wont connect to live

i has res5 working befor but now i reset my router i cant connect to live i have a dir-615 and dont know what i need to do. iv tryed opening a port for it but dont know if that did anything.
if anyone has had the same problem or knows how to fix it it would be great.

never mind this post i smashed my d-link with a hammer cuz it sucks in never buy another d-link in my life i just got a netgate and it works alot better and the drivers dont lock up my pc.

when i tryed useing the router cd my pc would freez up and the 3erd port never worked, wireless droped everyday so id say stay away from d-link or use the hammer fix it helps.

You've made an important discovery (that d-link does indeed suck hard). most network administrators eventually come to this realization and exclusively use only Cisco or Juniper networks gear, but LinkSys is the way to go for SOHO applications.

(with the exception of some really early d-link gear, like basic switches.. they seem to work ok).

yeah i just got a netgear and it feels like its bottle necking alot when my buddie games in the same server like css my ping was jumping from 70-300s some times so im taking it back and getting a linkSys cuz when i tryed last week the good ones where sold out. i think the hammer is the only fix for d-links.
