ROG Sonic Studio3+Sonic Studio Virtual mixer question about monitoring audio stream in Audacity when recording

I am using Republic of gamers ROG Sonic Studio as my audio control for my on-board sound chip on my Asus ROG STRIX B550 gaming-F motherboard. I have found that it installs a device called Sonic Studio Virtual Mixer. I can choose this to be the output device in the sound settings in Win10. Then I can choose this an the input for Audacity when recording from my browser tunes from the web. It works well, it sounds great....

HOWEVER: I cannot hear what I am recording at the same time.

I have to stop recording, change the output in the Win 10 sound settings back to Speakers Realtec Audio, then shut down Audacity and re-start it.... It doesn't detect the new output or something until it's re-started....Then I can play the recorded track back.

It's bit of a palaver. Any tips? How do I monitor what I am recording in Audacity or set things up in the Sonic Studio so I can hear the audio stream as it's recording?

As for "The Other Thing" I posted about, the special Russian Software......It stopped working as soon as my friend logged in, then rebooted, on both my friends machines too!!!
Efficient if nothing else...
Still they offered a "no questions asked amnesty" if he wanted to make a purchase. Nice of them.
Lols, I want a strike through formatting command..
