2. Almost certainly. I've yet to see a router that doesn't (dating all the way back to the first router I had, a Linksys BEFSX41).
3. Eh... what are you doing? The x1000 appears to have only 3 LAN ports, in contrast to the usual 4, and they're not even gigabit. Though, the x1000 is also an ADSL2+ modem. Are you looking for a modem+router combo unit? If not, you can do better for less with a standalone router.
