.RSRC (folder/files) to .rom file?

I'v got a rom file for my GTX 670 from the maker (evga) of the card, but it comes in a format with different files in it, among a folder .rsrc, and some files which I presume .data is the "rom" part of the collection.

Is there a way in software yo "build" this into a .rom file? without physically flashing the card, and save it back to a .rom file?.

it's an executable, but I extracted it, and got those .rsrc structure, and .data (among other things), so I presume it's ment to just be ran, it comes with nvflsh32.sys and nvflsh64.sys

But as I'm on linux, and realy was just looking for the rom file (with uefi version) to test out something in a virtualization environment and wanted to try to load the bios "on the fly" ...:) without actually flashing the card :)

Not sure, it might be tied to this card, as the serial number is requested upon acquiring it from evga.....not really sure but read somewhere one had to contact evga directly to get these uefi enabled roms ?, no idea why but

Have you tried just asking EVGA "Can I have just the ROM file? I'm on Linux"

rsc are the Windows PE Resources in the EXE. Look at each with a hex editor, if it resembles a BIOS structure

Yea, didn't hear back from them (but maybe it was after office time), but I was able to fire up an older windows pc I had around here, so was able to flash it and it seem like I'm able to "passthrough" the GPU as I wanted to now :)

Thanks for the feedbacks and offer to have a look at these things :)

Easter Holidays I guess. Yeah, just booting Windows is the easiest way.
