well.. you use a driver from like 9 months ago
Fair point, just got my laptop so I've been slowly making changes as I'm moving forward. I have not updated my drivers, any suggestions as to what to use to find them? Should I use Geforce Experience?
Who knows... does it happen at default settings? If not, try Uninstalling and reinstalling the program? Update your drivers...
...have you tried anything? What exactly did you do when you underclocked? The first post is lacking some info...
Hi EarthDog, sorry for not incorporating too many details. First off, yes it does happen at default settings and I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling. I just updated my drivers now and it seems like it's still doing the spiking and it still has interface lag but it's memory clock isn't spiking to 5k atm...
As for when I was underclocking, I followed these steps
1. drag the core clock slider to +120
2. drag the Memory clock to +300
3. Apply the overclock
4. Click on the Bar graph to access the Freq/Voltage Curve
In the Freq/Votltage Curve
1. Shift + left click on the curve at the 725 on the horizontal scale
2. Shift + left click on the black area, starting from the 725mark and drag to the end so the area is shaded
3. Shift + Enter twice
Now you will see the curve flatten at the 725 mark, that means you undervolt the GPU to 725mV
4. Drag the Freq/Voltage curve windows out of sight and hit apply in the afterburner main window, then you can close the curve window
5. Right click on the Number 1 below the Profile (first time to delete and second time to save your undervolt).
Here it is now with the new drivers

*Edit*Also is it normal/okay for my memory clock to be running super high? and I guess my card is being limited or something? (2nd image with Hulk)
(forgive me as I'm still a total newb to AB and still trying to learn it)
