Hi,

i have a very odd situation, I have an rtx 2080 Asus turbo, and it only works in amd systems. I tested it on an r7 3800x, r5 2600 and r5 3600x. In those systems it works fine. But on my Intel systems ( 8100, 6600k, 10900k, 10600k) it doesn’t work at all, it doesn’t even display the bios. I tried updating the vbios but that hasn’t solved it. When I use the intergrated graphics it also doesn’t show up in device management. Is there anything I can do to make it work on Intel?

With kind regards,
Sven

are you using just one motherboard for those intel cpu's? then that's the problem

if it passed the bios then it could be some software thing, but not even making it to bios, there is nothing on a PC that cares if the gpu is amd or nvidia at a hardware level, that is incredible strange.

Did you find a solution? I have the same problem with an RTX 3070 that wont work with
my i9-9900k and Aorus Z390i board. It doesn't show up in Bios or device manager.
I've heard a few people are having this problem and are saying it seems to work fine in AMD systems.
I don't particularly want to change my system to AMD but if the card does work with AMD, then
I suppose I'll have to upgrade\change my system.
