Rx 470 4gb sapphire nitro no display after flashed

yes i have that kind of computer when turns on makes a beep sound but if i place the gpu and try to turn on the pc it doesn’t make that sound at all its just the fans that spins
And that's because vBIOS initialization comes ahead of the BIOS. If vBIOS doesn't start, nothing does.

so is there a way to fix my gpu then?
Other than either with another pc or an external programmer? I don't see many options.

Mabye it can be set when a different graphics card is installed but I have my doubts since it is promotory motherboard and not regular motherboard.

@Bonzzy You need to find a different pc since an external programmer is tricky since you can fry the vbios chip when wrongly connected to the external programmer.

so if i just plug my gpu into other pc it can boot ?

No, I never said that. You need to find an other pc which has onboard graphics or a second pci-e 16x slot available which can be used.

Let us know what the specifications of the other pc is so we can tell you if it is possible to do a recovery with that system.

You'd need to plug it into the second pcie slot of another pc which already has another discrete GPU (I say this assuming that basically every MB will try to start the dGPU vBIOS first of everything, though I may be wrong) on its first. I guess your motherboard doesn't have a second pcie slot, does it?

Hello.

@Bonzzy - please try to take your card to a friend and test it on another computer which will let you boot using discrete GPU.
If on another computer makes the same, then the only solution left is to use an external programmer to flash your card.

Cheers

Maybe if you dump the BIOS or provide a link then the iGPU setting can be found and changed either with 3rd party app / grub or possibly through Windows by changing the store value. But why not use the EFI flasher on TPU with shell script set to do whatever is meant to be achieved, query device, backup, flash??? Set to boot from USB with FAT32 and away you go.

i dont have anyone close to me that have pc to test but what is a external programmer and does it make any effect on my pc ?

my pc does have a second slot that i can put 2 graphics card when i go home i will try that other slot if that doesn’t work i need to check the graphics card to another pc if that doesn’t work either i guess the only choice left is that external program again thanks for help

Hello.
When i meant external, i was talking about : CH341 Flash BIOS Programmer.
And no, ofc not. It does not affect your computer.
It will flash your video card BIOS using some cables.
Cheers

You need to buy a CH314 programmer:

Then you can do a recovery but dont blindly connect it. You really need to make sure the cable is connected the correct way and the voltage isn't too high.

Example video which explains some of the basic's:

Hello everyone i tried to flash my rx470 when i did it said that i need to restart computer once i done that the graphic card wasnt displaying anymore the fans keep spinning but no display

my pc specs all ik is
i5-4570
10 gb ram
windows 10 pro edition

if there is someone here that can help me fix it it would be pretty helpful

(the reason why i tried flashing it was becuase i was getting error code 43 and gpu wasnt working so i risked it)

UPDATE : i bought a used gpu gtx 1050 ti 4gb since i didn’t know what to do with the rx470 gpu becuase didn’t have good solutions for it but is there anyway that i can fix the rx470 by using 1050ti ?

In your case unlikely. I see the motherboard has a second slot but it is blocked by the PSU since the graphics card is likely too high due the cooler.
Also I dont think the power supply has a second 6 or 8pin PCIE power cable for the graphics card

yes thats the problem rx 470 doesn’t fit becuase its the second slot is to close to the psu but what if i try to move the motherboard a bit away or just remove it from the case so it could fit also 1050 ti doesnt require a cable it just plugs into the motherboard without a problem the only problem with the psu is 250v and probably that wouldnt turn on becuase 2 of them powering on together

  1. Press F10 during power on self test to enter the bios
  2. Go to Advanced
  3. Go to VGA Configuration
  4. Set the Intel VGA controller as "Primary VGA device"
  5. Go to File
  6. Save Changes and Exit

Maybe even blow the fuse.

You can try but I dont think it will work since the bios will likely detect that the graphics card has changed and then set the other card as default
