Hey guys,

I recently bought a Sapphire Radeon RX580 Nitro+ 8GB Special Edition.

I have checked the card clocks on GPU-Z and they don't seem right.

With the BIOS switch in one position (towards the ports at the rear) both the GPU and Default clock show 1340Mhz and the Memory 2000Mhz
With the BIOS switch in the other position (towards the PCI-E plugs) the GPU clock shows 1340Mhz, Default clock shows 1430Mhz. Memory shows 2000Mhz and 2100Mhz

When I upload my BIOS to the online database. It says my BIOS is the same as on this link; https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/193279/sapphire-rx580-8192-170511

Has the BIOS been modified? Is this correct?

Hope you can help

Yeah its been detuned, just download that bios from the link you provided and flash it

Thank you for the quick reply.

Does the BIOS switch have to be in a certain position? Sorry never flashed GPU BIOS before.

Make sure to have the bios switch away from the display ports on the back of the card, aka the position that shows 1340 as current speed and 1430 as default speed.

Do not flash the position that has 1340 as default and current speed.

As a matter of fact get a link to the 1340/1340 bios and post it here as that is the quiet bios.

Okay I shall do that.

Do you have a link to a quick guide at all of how to flash the BIOS?

Thanks very much. I shall follow that now and report back.

Get this tool

Just tried to flash and it said that this version of BIOS is already installed.

However, I think its done something as shown in the new GPU-Z screenshot
