Hi

I want (need) a digital camera , and saw this Samsung 10.1 Megapixel camera. I got an offer to buy one for around 1995:-SEK (something like 190US$ or 190£ I would guess).
What I get is the following:
The camera itself - Samsung S1050.
A camera case.
2 Rechargeable batteries and a charger.
1Gb memory stick.

Now I ain't the one who just runs and buy something because it's a good price.
Does anyone else have the same camera or similar?
If yes : How is the quality?

Is it worth the price?
If yes : Why?

This is a "limited offer" (around 100 or more to be sold) , from a camera store. A friend of mine works there and told me they were selling this camera with the above peripherals.

The camera itself comes also with cables so I can connect it directly to a TV. Is this a positive feature?

I have tried it and seen it in action , and I think it's good. Does anyone know if there is something that isn't good with it (i.e. bad flash, consumes a lot of power etc.etc)?

Thanks.

If you're quality-oriented then don't bother with anything short of a SLR.
