I only use ''Wordpad" for any & all text documents. Its all I need!

The only word processing software I ever used was Word 98. Ha!, still have the disk!

Is there a way to set as default the text size in Wordpad? I cannot find any settings on the computer. Quacking, (DuckDuckGo) only returns for various word processing s/w. Maybe theres a registry setting??

I get the whole not wanting to spend money on a word processor if WordPad does pretty much everything you need. But why not try one of the free alternatives like LibreOffice? It's not like they take up a bunch of space, it uses about 1GB of hard drive space, and by default it doesn't load anything when Windows starts so it doesn't use any resources in the background either.

Because I don't think there is a way to set the default font in Wordpad without hacky workarounds like saving a blank file and opening that everytime instead of Wordpad itself.
