Did any of you ever bought a motherboard with no name on internet ? It got the same code as a msi but with different settings and options. What do you think of this?
B85 chipset / LGA1150 / max of 16 gigs ddr3 / no mention of onboard graphic

I haven’t but have seen a number of these types of different motherboards for sale, even on Amazon. Many have been Frankensteins, mixing different gens of features. I think most come out of China.

That one seems to be fairly straightforward. Maybe a refurb of some type?

I haven't and wouldnt do that. Seems scary when for a few dollars more at least you can have a name to fall back on.

From what I gather, China is taking old boards, likely that are non functional, removing the chipsets from them and putting the old used chipsets on new motherboards.

They are doing this with old enough hardware that Windows 10 should just load all the drivers for everything, so there isn't much worry there. Yeah, good luck with a warranty if there is ever an issue, but it isn't like new Haswell era motherboards are that common at this point. So you're likely not going to have a warranty if you buy brand name either.
