Hi guys!
I have played this game 4 years ago in an old super nintendo and it was absolutely one of
the best games i have played and also it was GENESIS. I was thinking if the version of 2007 for pc is that cool
and if any of you guys has played this game to tell me smth extra from youtube and other
sources
 
I never played it as it was an FPS not a RPG.

There is a project that has been at work for the last 4 years or so working on a RPG version, they have MS permission, however if I recall MS recently sold licensing of the name so not sure if it will have any effect on progress.

I'm pretty sure that Awakened is dead in the water, like most games that start up on Sourceforge. These guys have good ideas, but run out of time, energy and inspiration.

Shadowrun on SNES was a blast I played it when it came out.
Same with the Genesis version, excellent games.

I never played the Xbox or PC version, but I heard that when the servers were still up, the PC players were owning it up.

This franchise would make for excellent RPGs or even MMO games.
I recall that one of the writers for Bioware stated that he would love to write a Shadowrun game.
 
Well they released the first installer a couple months back and have a video up of the early 3D stuff they got going on.

So I am hoping it is not dead, but at the same time, I do not have high hopes for its completion.

Then again, some of the KotOR mods took 5 years to complete. And those were just mods.


EDIT: Ohhh BIoware making Shadowrun that would be sweet.
 
I wasn't aware the Shadowrun Awakened project was still going. Last time I checked, a LOOOOONG time ago, it had stalled out.

Also Bioware wouldn't be making the Shadowrun MMO, it as just one of the writers talking about his dream project.
But if they did make it, it would probably be pretty great.
 
The Shadowrun fps is one of the most under appreciated fpses out there. Soooo much fun, just a lack of content is all that brings it down.
