I like the toolbox.... simple cozy and very relatable. Dunno about the workbench. I thought computer workbenches consisted of a mount of some sort for MB/PSU and lack of chassis?

I use an end table that is beside my TV stand, it only holds my tower, my screw driver, an assortment of fans to suit the mood, CPU, and right now I am sitting on almost 60g of TIM.

Got sick of running out.. wont run out for a few years now :)

Edit:

A pic will have to wait.. I have to dust.. it gets everywhere with these fans lol

No room for such (I live in a 32m2 apartment) so I tinker with hardware on the floor. :D

I miss my hardwood floor, but like the house better so.. tradeoffs :D

The closest thing I have to workbench at the moment and it's a bit of a mess with the printers taking up most of the space. That'll change once I get more stuff moved.

It's not a question of the size. It's a question of the organization.

I also live actually in a 35m² barrier free one-room apartment (I have to use a wheelchair). But i have a big (200x75cm) workdesk. Additionaly a second side desk with a size of 120x60cm for my 3D Printer and additional machines.I have a full living area, a kitchen and a bathroom.

I have a couch as well which takes the space where I would have a second desk. Trust me, I had a second desk before. :D

It's a bit messy atm, hopefully clean it up over the xmas break

I thought this was about workbenches, not computer desks?

I still use the kitchen table or floor depending.

I used to do all my work on my big fancy, wooden, too damn heavy to move, L-desk but my wife run me out with the $#@+ she watches on TV so I have a small bedroom that is my simulator room with beer fridge and my work benches. Have a nice adjustable standup table that holds the 57 inch monitor. Barely leaves room for a computer. It would be real nice if I could use it. Hard to find a spot for 32 inch x 14 inch footprint and 5 feet of clearance.

Don't have a picture of it;

But, I built a 24 inch X 16 foot bench in the basement.

It's currently just the plywood top, but going to install a thin rubber over the entire surface.

I made one of those w/casters for my be quiet! Dark Base 902 r.2 case. Didn't like it. Now the beer fridge sits on it.

Mine is in the back of our "arcade room"... I put up some plexiglass pieces to protect the walls from rotating case jabs and damage... a NUC skull canyon and 4k monitor for reference materials or watching TV while working (easily cleared when needing more space) . Supplies and spare parts are binned up behind as I got tired of walking to the garage to find something. Merry Christmas and any other holidays that are yours!

That appears a small footprint stand for the big Samsung. How's that working for you? Is it mounted?

Not the biggest or fanciest but gets the job done for what I do.

I've upgraded the monitor since this pic was taken so the books are no longer there.
