What about the "bait n switch' V2/V3 SX8200 Pro drive? Is this a better option? They are both TLC drives, they both perform about the same and have same warranty length, 5 years.
I would get the UD70 only because the TLC memory that it uses is more advanced but they both perform about the same.

I dont know anything about that so I cant comment on it.What about the "bait n switch' V2/V3 SX8200 Pro drive? Is this a better option?
Alright thanks. Seems like i'm gonna get the UD70. Btw the Samsung 970 Evo is ~150€ which is about 25€ more expensive. Does it worth the extra money?I dont know anything about that so I cant comment on it.
Only thing I know is that sometimes SSDs get updates with more advanced controllers or nand chips.
Like the Samsung 970 and 970 plus, the plus has a more dense nand chips and about 300mb higher read or write speed, I dont member which one.
The ssd manufacturer might keep the name or add v1, v2 like you said, or in Samsung's case, add "plus".

wait, i just looked at the official silicon power website and they say that the UD70 is QLC. That's actually terribleThey are both TLC drives, they both perform about the same and have same warranty length, 5 years.
