Is it just me or are the forums sometimes unbareably slow... It happens quite a lot and then it would just be fast again. Some days I can't even load the page at all. All other sites work great so I was just wondering if it is some other problem?

Thanks for a great site Wizz btw! :toast:

It's always been alright for me from day one mate :) (Day one as in the day I joined ;))

My internet speed is 3Mb and I'm with NTL so you guessed it, I'm a cable user :P

What connection are you on and is your browser optimised to load fast? If not I'll try to assist you, as my mozilla firefox is optimised to load all my pages faster unless the websites server is running slow or is down... Then you know what happens =)

I'm on 512k ADSL with Firefox. Not optimized for faster loading, just installed. And it's just sometimes that it hits an all low and I can't get anything out of the site. Or maybe it's just the international link between SA and wherever the server for techpowerup! is that's having problems or heavy traffic or something like that?? ;)

no issues on our server side .. server is located with theplanet in texas, so it might be the international link ..

next time tpu is slow, check if hardocp is slow too .. both servers are living in the same datacenter :)

Will do. Just wanted to make sure... I'd not be surprised if it was the link. Our ADSL is really flaky for some reason for the past few years. lol. Since it came out more like it. ;) Thanks
