So...who bought the Ultra X-Finity PSU?

So...who bought the Ultra X-Finity PSU at RadioShack for $9.99 after the rebates? I ordered one myself, probably won't get here for a while (as Mark said, they won't ship Monday and Tuesday, holiday). Seems to be a pretty good deal at $9.99. now, to take apart my current PS, and see what I can get out of that.

Btw, even if you didn't get it from RadioShack, please tell us your experiences with Ultra PSU.

What's wrong with rebates? Easy way to get money back. They had a Coolermaster PSU that was $39.99 from $70 or $80 I think after rebates.

Heres a Roudup review of some PSU's tested earlier this year...this may very well be the reason the Ultra PSU Is selling so cheap.

THat is a great article. THe Ultra got the "Impending Doom" label! LMFAO!!!!! Did you see the drop on teh 12V+ rail? Almost .8V! That is just not something to trust for overclocking at all.

Ouch I have the 500 version . I also get some sound card distortion in Elder Scrolls and I think its the problem

Mines been working great..and I hope it stays that way. Not al Ultra PSU are bad, they're just pretty new to this...but later on they'll make much better ones.
