Hello all (^o^)/
Could someone please tell me?
Question:
Is it possible to connect a USB3.2 gen2 TypeC (10Gbps) cable to a USB3.2 gen2x2 TypeC (20Gbps) header?
Description:
For example, I am asking this question assuming that the front USB of the case is USB3.2 gen2 TypeC (10Gbps) and the header on the motherboard is USB3.2 gen2x2 TypeC (20Gbps). The same is true for 3.2 gen1 TypeC (5Gbps) and 3.2 gen2 TypeC (10Gbps).
Looking at product pages and manuals for motherboards from various manufacturers, the header shapes and pin assignments seemed to be the same. Are TypeC headers backward compatible?
