I just got this empty All Bookmarks folder showing up on my Chrome Bookmarks Bar after trying to create a Bookmarks Bar bookmark. I cannot find a way to delete it and I've found a few others with this problem. In fact when you look at the Chrome Report an Issue instances on this, one person said the exact same thing, and another replied saying they're having the same problem, but it was locked for further replies.

I have tied deleting the URL created in that folder, but I can only delete the URL, not the folder itself. None of my searches have lead to a viable solution.

That is not a folder in the bookmarks manager as I am sure you have noticed.

I disabled it by doing:

Open new tab

Type:
Code:
chrome://flags/

Search for
"Power bookmarks side panel"

Set this to
"Disabled"

And relaunch chrome when it asks.

worked for me no problem

Thanks a ton, that did the trick for me too! :toast:

Yeah, it popped up for me too. Thanks for the help. I can't wait until they remove the option to remove it.
