A couple of hours ago my Windows 10 suddenly stopped showing Notifications in the Action Center, in the taskbar I do get that there is a notification but I cannot see the notification clicking on the Action Center.
On top of this I cannot re-enable Notification for Brave it's Off and clicking on Off doesn't change it to On:
I have tried doing a System Restore to like 12hours ago and this doesn't work, and I tried renaming the file "UsrClass.dat" and then go to Powershell (Admin) and using this command:
Get-AppxPackage | % { Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppxManifest.xml" -verbose }
Source: https://www.kapilarya.com/fix-action-center-not-working-in-windows-10
All this did was messing up my tray area with all my tray icons which I don't want but the Action Center did not come back, I really hope someone can help me because I do not want to create a new user and set up everything again.
I got it partially fixed now the Action Center actually shows Notifications Again but I still cannot enable Brave.
What I did to get the Action Center to show up again was to run this:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\PushNotifications]
"ToastEnabled"=dword:00000000
and then restart.
After restart still didn't help on activating notifications for Brave, what I did was to uninstall it and reinstalling it this helped but seriously this isn't great that I am not able to activate notifications from applications again I don't know if this is a Windows 10 bug or something
