Amd ANthlon 64 3800+ 2.4Ghz (hopeing to overclock)
Asrock AliveSATA2-Glan
Nvidia 7600Gt 256mb
1 gb Of exlir Ram

ok im looking for some more ram mostly to fix my bf2 server loading problem the ram would mostly be for gaming can anyone suggest atleast under $200

try to get similar/same RAM as you have

OR buy new RAM (like 2GB) and sell what you got

It would be best to buy another gig of Elixir memory. But, short of that, you should get something that matches the specs of your current memory.

If you post the timings of the Elixir, we could help you find something that is a good match for it.

Elixir normally have crap memory though.

If it has bad timings (which is probable), id say to get rid of that GIG of Elixir and put in a nice 2GB kit of corsair/mushkin/Geil/G.Skill/OCZ, etc

i fixed all my loading probs with bf2 an FEAR by raiding 2 80 hd.s allmost no load lag now

i did stipe raid so i got a 160gig drive 20gig c: for windows an a 130gig d: for games works awsome

sept when u take apart the comp for what ever reson the raid can be a pain to get the bios to pick back up

my ram is 1gig 2x512mb ddr1 400 @415mh rughly with tight cas timeings [weard bga ram has hit 533mh but not in this mobo]

thats mantained speed

i wana try raiding 4 drives but that mean i need a usb cd/rom lmao could be alot of fun thow i evin have 4 identical maxtor 80gigs all 7200rpm 2mb cash i wish they wer 8mb cash
