last week i was looking for a good gadget to tell me the system uptime and i got into the library without any problems...headed back today to look for a good realtime currency converter and the fixed version of sushis drive info and i get this

http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows/downloads/looking-for-gadgets

windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows/downloads/personalize/gadgets

last i heard, windows 7 is still alive and kicking, yet they stopped allowing posts and are directing posters to the developers page for windows 8 metro tiles...WTF

yeh, they want developers to work on windows 8 metro apps...but this aint the way

maybe microsoft wants their widgets get mature on win 8 release, so they decide to end it. especially microsoft plans to use tiles aka metro that using more widgets
