Well I was getting the error form Soundmax task bar icon saying "You can not use the SoundMax Audio settings" and I was unable to use the Control Panel For SoundMax
So I reinstalled the audio drivers for my Asus P6T Delux motherboard from the Asus web site. Did the reboot and bamn hot damn same freaking issue.
So I scoured the net for an answer and it seemed that there were many users with this same issue (albeit they were from back in 2009) and no one seemed to have a fix for it.
So I went back to Asus this morning and downloaded the Chipset drivers and the Audio drivers and installed the Chipset drivers and waved the reboot option and then installed the Audio drivers and did the requested reboot and whalla every thing is fine and dandy and working as it should!
I can now use the Control Panel For SoundMax!
I am not all together sure why the Chipset drivers were the main part of the fix but is does not surprise me by any means.
I just wanted to post this as after it gets indexed maybe it will help some poor fellow with their hopes of a fix on line.
