SP2 Problem:Help Please :)

Ive just done a fresh install of Windows XP:Home Edition with SP1 and everythings running perfect. BUT when I install SP2 everything goes tits up! I can log on to the net but no sites will load and I cant even access Microsofts site to get any updates??????
Any advice would be great,

uninstall it then. just go to add/remove, uninstall sp2

Have you checked your network configuration? maybe the SP2 installation somehow erased the configuration, and all you need to do is reconfigure it again.
You can call your ISP for assistance, good luck.
 
Well it turns out this was a virus trojan was called servenxpp.exe pretty nasty. So ran avg it picked it up so repaired it restarted my system. Thought everything was ok it came back it ended up it was in system 32 had to rename it then restart machine, so it would not recodnise the virus then manualy delete it, problem sorted i hope. Thx anyway for the help.
