SpaceTime enables Web browsing in an unlimited 3D space. It allows users to map out their browsing progress in a visual timeline, treating each Web site as an object that can be manipulated and rearranged within the 3D environment. Users can alternate between 3D and 2D perspectives to facilitate traditional browsing, without the hassle of pop-ups and clicks on the Back button.

is this the thing that was showcased at the TED convention a month or two ago?

Well it was presented in June but dont know if it was in that convention.

This browser is really pretty slick. It still has a few bugs and is missing features, but over time it may mature into a decent tool.

Anyone else getting the "I can't finish installing/updating SpaceTime" error?

Mine installed fine (XP Pro SP2). I wonder if you must have .net 2.0 framework or something ?

One funny thing that I noticed is that when you select the help function, instead of loading the page into itself, SpaceTime loads it into the default browser. So their help pages launched in IE7. heheh

Yeah. I first downloaded within Firefox and it took it as an .xpi. I'm like, "What? This is an add-on?" Then it tried to install and didn't obviously.

Then I switched with IE Tab and downloaded it as an .exe. Tried to install, and got the same error.

This is my work computer. I wouldn't be surprised if .NET 2.0 is installed.

Do you have admin rights on the computer ? Maybe that is needed also.

pretty slick reminds me the progect glass though

p.s. way it a while some one of the big companies gonna copy it ....
