Ok, before anyone goes and say something like "buy this" or "buy that", I have saved money for most of the parts, and to buy the rest I have to sell stuff that I have.
I'll put the currency in €uros, but if anyone want's it "translated" into another just ask & I shall post it.

(Some sites are in Swedish, want me to translate? Ask and I shall do so.)

Chassi/case: Asus TA77 Vento ; 147€
http://www.gtek.net/index.php?mode=item&id=3098&session=6c29cba5de2e08494dcfce109af4564e

PSU: Thermaltake ToughPower, 850W ; 179€
http://www.gtek.net/index.php?mode=item&id=3203&session=6c29cba5de2e08494dcfce109af4564e

Mobo: Gigabyte GA-MA790FX-DQ6 AMD 790FX (buying it from a friend, so no links - has been used for about 1 month only) ; 126€

Memory: Corsair TWIN2X2048-8500C5DF Dominator (theese are included with the mobo, so they are free..)

CPU: AMD Phenom 9600 (same as above, buying from a friend) ; 105€

And it all ends here. I get no graphics card, no HDD's. Therefore I need Your help!
First, I have about 264€ to spend on a graphics card and about 73€ to spend on a new HDD.

Second.. I'm a total ATi fan, and for the HDD it just has to be something using SATA (never had it before). I know that some cards from nVidia are probably "better" in many ways, but considering that I'm not one of them who plays games with eyecandy (actually I turn down graphics in CS/CS:S when I used to play..) My current system will be used as a 24/7 F@H station until it reach it's final day and dies..

Third, is the mobo he is selling to me any good? Whatabout the cpu, he said it's called "Black Edition" , but when I looked it up it's the same price as the "ordinary" one not called "Black Edition". So the last question I have for tonight is: Why is it called "Black Edition" and still selling at same price???

Thankful for any replies & have a wonderful weekend!

"Black Edition" means unlocked multiplier of the CPU = yo can increase the CPU speed without raising the FSB.

For your ATi card you can buy an HD3870, all new models of HDDs are using SATA II interface so It will no problem to choose one.

For the rest It seems a pretty descent and up to date rig, I can't advice you with the costs 'cause I'm from Mexico.

Congrats for your new build.

EDIT: also you can buy an HD3850 and save money, It brings you very nice performance with any aplication. The case looks very nice too, just the PSU looks too much for your system, if you're planning to upgrade "soon" installing more HDDs and a more powerful VGA then buy it, otherway choose a lower one.

I'd say go for a HD 3870 with you money. And pretty easily you can have a 320/500GB SATA II 16M/7200RPM HDD .Depending on the local market prices.

Quick question, are you planning to overclock at all?

If so, it would be worth your while to get a decent aftermarket cpu cooler.

Yeah get the 3870, it's good and you should be able to find a 500G HDD for that money...

Actually.. I don't know that as yet. I also need a better cooling fan I think, he only has stock cooler mounted on it. Also, after reading that I can overclock this CPU without changing the front side bus makes me a bit confused. How is it possible??

He never bought it for overclocking, he actually bought it and I put it together. He just wanted it for gaming. I want it because my cpu can't handle the load when I do my music (have over 20 apps running at the same time).

Any cooler to recommend? I don't know what to buy..
