You might remember the news back from november, Truck Full of EVGA Graphics Cards Gets Stolen in California.
Well, they resurfaced, in Vietnam.

"We all remember how a truck full of EVGA's GeForce RTX 30 graphics cards was stolen in California back in November 2021.
Well, it looks like a batch of those GPUs has been found & being sold by a Vietnamese-based retailer, Nguyễn Công PC.

Update: It looks like there's some more news to this story. The retailer has sold more than one EVGA GeForce RTX 30 series graphics card to its customers and they have also been found to be stolen units. Also, the cards are stated to be 'Open Box' units which seems to be a way NCPC is utilizing the bypass the law by declaring that they were already used whereas we have been told that customers who received these cards had them advertised as '100% New & Sealed' by the same retailer. We also have a few invoices to add to this report which you can see below: ..."

I'm sure EVGA has no means to identify the cards by their serial number. Why would they? Seriously, what were these people thinking?

I doubt the retailer cares that EVGA knows. The cards are going to sell just fine.

Imagine haggling with the seller:
"How much?"
"1000 bucks."
"But where's its serial number?"
"OK, 500."

:D.

Good job Vietnamese seller, just sell them and earn profits.

Would be slick if this would come as daily thing. Imagine - Other AIB gpus were stolen as well and then sold for cheap money to casual peasants. I would call them heroes :D.

Imo the retailer selling them knows they are dodgy, even if they don't come clean about it.

I sense a second Vietnam War is coming, followed with a lot of rescue RTX POWs movies.
