Hi,
Just upgraded my motherboard/CPU/RAM setup and it uses Kingston HyperX at 2400Mhz. However, even though I have not yet changed any of the default BIOS settings where it comes to overclocking, when I look at the overclocking section of the BIOS, I see it says that the Target Memory Speed is 1333. Is that normal? Target CPU and cache speed appear to be correct at 4000. There doesn't seem to be a way to change it.

My motherboard is an ASRock Z97X Fatality Killer and the CPU is i7-4790K. Below is what CPU-Z says about the RAM, but I don't know how to interpret it.

You need to enable the XMP memory profile for your memory. 1333Mhz is the default JEDEC profile for your machine most likely, much like how my GSkill 2133Mhz memory starts at 1600Mhz before XMP is setup.
