I didn't know were in the forums to put this

well i really want to get windows 7 ultimate for school and i need to get Microsoft Office Ultimate 2007 i was wandering if it would be a better buy to get them threw technet account?

Technet- TechNet Plus Direct $349
TOTAL $349

Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate- $319.99
Microsoft Office Ultimate 2007- $369.99
TOTAL $689.98 for both

So i was thinking i could save more money threw technet but do i have to have some special thing to get it or can i just go to there website TechNet and buy it? and can i download as much as i want? becuase ,my dad has a business with a couple comps and he could use some of the stuff

Technet is the way to go!!

Depends on how soon you will upgrade again...If it's within 2 years go with technet if it's 2 years+ go with the retail copies or download W7 rc and office 2007 trial and wait till October and buy the OEM's witch is the cheapest all around

Head over to the link Bogmali posted. Keep in mind that a TechNet subscription gives you retail keys, so you could download all of the ISO's and get yourself 10 keys for each product and cancel your subscription after a year and have all of that software forever. The only reason to renew is if there's something new coming out that you want and your subscription is already expired.

do you know when/if technet will get office 2010? that would be nice

what school r u goin to? some offer a msdn account

That is news to me....GREAT NEWS:toast:

i subscribed 5 days ago, and still havent had my payment verified, not happy jan, i want me keys .. im waiting for business hrs to call them and to give them point in the right direction

sorry for the double post but i have a question

with the TN subscription you get one "Multiple Activation Key" (MAK) key for windows 7 enterprise, i was wondering how dose this exactly work, its that a key that all TN subscribers get or dose each account get there own MAK key ?

either way dose this mean that insted of using 4 differnt ultimate keys for win 7 ultimate i can just just the one enterprise key on four systems (of course using the enterprse install disc not ultimate disc)

(the only differance i can find between ultimate and enterprise is ultimate is individual retail/OEM keys where the enterprise is a volume MAK key)

This was discussed further back in my clubhouse thread.
