Some time ago I got a MSRP 5090, was not happy with the cooler and resold it, and now I got it back and decided to test how bad the cooler really is. It has no vapour chamber and only 5 large heatpipes.
Note that the air flow is partially restricted by my RAMGUARD. Test load was 3d mark stress test - Speed way.
The results of a stock card and limited to 400W:
It does not feel like the cooler is a 600W capable cooler - perhaps at max fan speeds in a proffesional enviroment?
On the other hand it can handle 400W quite well.
Are my results normal, or is my cooler faulty, perhaps one of the heatpipes faulty?
