Unfortunately, the very highly anticipated expansion pack for World of Warcraft named Burning Crusade will not make it for Christmas this year. Fans will have to hold back until January 2007.
The date has been postponed as Blizzard wishes to conduct a closed beta test during the Christmas period.
Mike Morhaime, president of Blizzard Entertainment made this statement:
"We appreciate the enthusiasm surrounding World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade, and we're excited about putting the finishing touches on all of the new content. We feel confident that the extra time spent polishing the game will result in the high-quality experience that our players expect and deserve."
