The duel Intel did not attend [Update]

The world's number two regarding x86 CPU sales, AMD, invited Intel a few weeks ago to compete with AMD. The fastest and most economical (equals performance per watt) dual core CPU should be the winner. But after several formal invitations it was obvious. Intel did not attend this duel.
AMD tried to come up with 10 reasons why Intel didn't want to compete you should definitely read.

9. (Intel) Decided to take the "front-side bus" to the duel; got stuck in a bottleneck

Anyway, AMD still managed the duel to be hold and simply took industry benchmark numbers formerly published to compare the contenders. So one could foresee who would win this tournament... AMD!

I found a nice video at AMD Enterprise which covers the whole story and much more. Next fight will be SUN vs. DELL... Click on the picture below. (Please don't take all that not too serious!)
