Naughty Dog's remaster of "The Last of Us Part II" released on January 16 of this year—the PlayStation 4-era survival horror classic was spruced up and released exclusively on Sony's current-generation console. Segments of the gaming community have continued to question the company's PS5/PS4-to-PC porting policy—timing remains the key sticking point here. PC platform enthusiasts have often waited around two to three years for expirations of PlayStation exclusivity. Sony leadership has absorbed some of this feedback—a small wave of PC ports have emerged in recent times, following a series of insider leaks. Crucially, Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition's PC version is due to launch on March 21, followed by Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut—almost two months later.

Iron Galaxy ported "The Last of Us Part 1" to PC platforms—their collaboration—with Naughty Dog—launched last March. Naturally, discussions immediately focused on the sequel's speculated release date—one year later, a "reliable" tipster has thrown in their two cents. Silknigth's recent track record includes the outing of Sucker Punch's Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut PC port. The leaker stated: "Sony's upcoming PC game is The Last Of Us Part 2 Remastered. Its announcement is expected next month, although the exact date is unknown. There will be a longer-than-usual period between the announcement date and the release day." Reports suggest that Sony could unveil another batch of PC ports in the near future—these titles include: God of War Ragnarok, Gran Turismo 7 and Demon's Souls.

While it's reportedly not as good as the first, i reckon i will still get this the last of us part 2. Ghost of tsushima... maybe, but probably not.

Great another shitshow release on PC and 6 months of live beta testing and patches until it is playable no doubt

I am one of the many people who hated this game after the legendary Last of Us game came out. The first is a masterpiece of story telling and is still one of my favorite game stories of all time. Not to mention the first remaster for the original was a'lot more warranted because of when it came out/the generation it was a part of. Ignoring the fact Last of Us Part II in my book is a terrible sequel, this game came out just a couple of years ago on PS4 and the improvements are not making any reasonable difference in the graphics (Mostly due to the difference between the previous generation and this generation hardware) is not nearly as big.

I just don't see how they justify this, seems they are pretending its going to be like Skyrim and GTA 5.

I learnd about clickers in DL easter's egg, that if a zombie was not killed somehow revived as a clicker, i didn't liked the less than an hour i played of part1 remasters, at all.

Considering the mixed reception the game got among the fanbase (esp. with Joel's death and the early feeling of bait and switch), I'm kind of surprised they're still going through with it. Then again, it still sold well, so maybe lightning will strike twice with a PC release.

Of course Part 2 is going to come out, they have literally no other projects.

It seems Naughty Dog have a far higher opinion of the product than the fanbase does. Moreso than TLOU1 from what I can tell.

Here's hoping they launch it in a better state this time, the first is mostly fixed now but still has lower than expected performance across a range of hardware. Not holding my breath for this one to be any better.

Another shitshow of a port coming.

I pre ordered it on PS4 because i loved part 1. Took me 20 hours to finish the game. First 10 hours were fun. Then 5 hours of "OK, I'm ready to finish this." And last 5 hours of "God please end this game already!" And it only took me that long because game has abundance of looooooooooooooong, slow and boring bla bla sections.

Not really interested in another Sony PC port unless it's Demon's Souls or Bloodborne

Loved every minute of it. Can't wait for a PC release.

definitely on the watch list
